Swanage Town Council invite residents, businesses and community organisations to have their say on the draft Swanage Neighbourhood Plan, which has now reached the formal Regulation 14 consultation stage. The six-week consultation period runs from Friday 26th June until Friday 7th August 2026, providing stakeholders with a critical opportunity to submit representations on this shared vision for the future development of Swanage and has been shaped by more than two years of research, evidence gathering, and community engagement.
“This consultation is the culmination of the hard work of community representatives in building a planning document that gives local people a direct say in how their area should evolve.” states Jonathan Leigh, Associate Director at Chapman Lily Planning. “The Neighbourhood Plan is poised to guide growth in a way that strengthens and enhances the neighbourhood for generations to come.”
