Chapman Lily Planning is delighted to welcome Luke Dodd, who has joined the team as a Planning Trainee.
Luke graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2025 with a BA in Geography, where he developed a strong interest in the relationship between planning, people and the places in which we live and work.
During his degree, Luke undertook research exploring the impact of planning on shaping urban places and experiences, giving him an insight into the important role that planning plays in the development of communities and the built environment.
In his new role at Chapman Lily Planning, Luke will have the opportunity to develop his knowledge and practical experience across different areas of the planning system, working alongside the team and supporting the delivery of planning advice and services to our clients.
We are always keen to welcome new talent into the planning profession and look forward to supporting Luke as he begins his career and builds on the knowledge gained during his studies.
Speaking about his appointment, Luke said:
“I am elated to be joining Chapman Lily Planning. To have the opportunity to be involved in the planning system is brilliant and particularly with a firm like Chapman Lily. Planning has an important place in how our society functions and moves forward, and to take part with a company that puts in that extra effort for its clients is an honour. I look forward to supporting the company as it moves into the future.”
Everyone at Chapman Lily Planning would like to extend a warm welcome to Luke. We look forward to working with him and wish him every success as he takes his first steps into the planning profession.
