BCP Council is consulting on the draft Neighbourhood Plans for Christchurch and Burton & Winkton under Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations.
Both consultations run from 20 July to 6 September 2026, giving local residents, businesses, landowners and developers an opportunity to comment before the plans are considered by an independent examiner.
The draft plans and their supporting evidence are now available to view. They will be an important consideration for anyone with an interest in future development, land promotion or planning proposals in either area, so now is the time to understand the emerging policy context and make representations where appropriate.
