Great away game for the Swans against North Dorset for their first game following Christmas and New Year break. North Dorset 30pts Swanage & Wareham 8pts
From the first they soon found out this game was going to be some task as the ball was kicked deep into Swans territory resulting in a try which was converted. North Dorset dominated possession, however, Swans were tackling well, and North Dorset could not penetrate further until a penalty took the home team deep in Swans 22. After 30 minutes the Swans conceded a second try in the corner.

In the second half the Swans took a couple of penalties, which took them into the hosts 22 resulting in North Dorset kicking the ball clear, however the ball came to fly half Jamie Foskett who landed a drop goal from outside the 22 putting the Swans on the scoreboard. Swans had more of a play in the second half and managing to touch down in the corner. Unfortunately, soon after this a Swans player was yellow carded. The home team took advantage of having one extra player.

Last weekend saw the mighty Swans make their way to Portsmouth rugby club as the ladies faced @portsmouth_valkyries II’s After the narrow 10-7 victory at home, Swans knew they would be facing a tough opposition.
A great game of rugby which saw Swans winning 45-5.
This weekend
1st XV host Sherborne at Bestwall- kick off is 2.15pm whilst the 2nd team return to league action with a trip to play Salisbury 3rd XV- away, kick off also 2.15pm.
