Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council has just launched a consultation inviting residents and stakeholders to share their views about how housing is delivered across BCP in the future. Speaking on the announcement, Brett Spiller, director at Chapman Lily, commented that ‘the key priorities set out in the draft strategy include meeting future housing needs; preventing homelessness; and improving housing options, opportunities and choice for all. Given the low housing land supply and rates of delivery at BCP, it is very encouraging to see that the Council is prioritising this issue and I would encourage colleagues in the development industry to respond’.
