Last weekend’s match against Dorchester was a “game of two halves” for the Swans.
Two first half tries by Swans James Casey were converted by Steve Wooley and the Swans finished the first half leading 14 points to 13 points.
Unfortunately Dorchester took control of the scrums in the second half and scored three tries (two from interceptions). The Swans could only reply with a try from wing forward Jonny Blackmore and the final score was Swanage and Wareham 19pts Dorchester 32pts.
Notwithstanding the final score the Swans remained competitive in the second half but Dorchester took their chances with a couple of long run ins from interceptions.
It looks like the crowd (including our friends and families) are going to have nerve jangling entertainment against Wimborne on 29th October!
