Weymouth Town Council is currently preparing a neighbourhood plan and has announced it is inviting landowners to promote their land for potential future development under a ‘call for sites’. The process will end on 27th October 2021. Commenting on this announcement, Steve Tapscott, associate director at Chapman Lily, said that ‘this is one of the first stages in the neighbourhood plan process and is an important opportunity for landowners to get their prospective sites on the Council’s radar. The Council is looking for land to be developed for homes, jobs, leisure or community use within the town and surrounding area’.
Chapman Lily Planning has enjoyed great success across the country in promoting sites on behalf of landowners through the planning process. If you would like to consider promoting your land for future development, please feel free to get in touch.
