Chapman Lily Planning working with a talented project team including ARC Architects and Dev Comms are pleased to have secured consent to convert the iconic Barclays House into 362 apartments.
The conversion of Barclays House will result in an estimated carbon saving of 41,200 tonnes CO2e in comparison to the alternative of demolishing the current building for new development.
The conversion includes the provision of modern amenities including flexible workspace, a communal gym and recreational facilities for future residents. External amenities include private roof terraces, a communal roof garden, and ground floor gardens and play space.
Giles Moir, Director at Chapman Lily Planning commented “we are delighted to have secured permission for the conversion of Barclays House for our client, this is a project the whole team are proud of and we look forward to seeing the conversion take place”.
