Resolution to approve granted at Mid Suffolk planning committee this week, regularising alterations to approved crop drying barn in Suffolk
Chapman Lily Planning are happy to have helped deliver a resolution to grant from planning committee this week for alterations undertaken by a client to a crop drying barn in Mid Suffolk. The barn, as built (essentially an agglomeration of extant approvals – one for a large storage barn and one for a smaller crop drying barn on the same spot), is to be used to dry on-farm crops, reducing road miles. The barn sits alongside an anaerobic digestion plant and ground source heat array, previously granted planning permission. Having sat in planning for months over its determination deadline due to Council workloads, Chapman Lily were dogged in our pursuit of a planning permission WITH effective planning conditions, necessarily speaking at planning committee twice to achieve this for a client keen to achieve a planning permission which was clear and workable for all parties.
