Dorset Council have circulated a helpful December newsletter advising that in order for applications to be registered as valid, applicants must now use and upload their ‘Biodiversity Checklist’ as part of a Full or Listed Building Planning Application.
There is a reminder that planning fees increase from 6th December.
A new Pre-Application Advice service in on operation from 6 Dec 2023, with new categories and revised the fees. The Council explain this is a cost recovery service and the fees have been accurately calculated to reflect the time officers spend on the applications.
More details on this when it is introduced this week, and we have had the opportunity to look through it in more detail.
