Chapman Lily Planning are pleased to confirm that, working with ARC Architecture, full planning permission was recently secured for the conversion of two historic redundant brewery buildings to create 24 dwellings and the erection of 17 new dwellings. The planning application was submitted on behalf of Homes England & Arlington (Blandford) Ltd.
Andy England, Associate Director at Chapman Lily Planning commented: we were very pleased to have secured planning permission for such a historic site. The application was not without challenges, but we would commend Dorset Council for their positive approach which helped to reach a successful decision. Whilst the existing buildings are not listed, they are clearly important features in the area. The scheme will provide much needed quality homes, whist securing the future of some very attractive buildings which were once part of the adjoining Blandford Brewery complex.
