Chapman Lily Planning were pleased to speak at the recent Carbon Green Consulting (www.carbongc.co.uk) seminar. Giles Moir from Chapman Lily delivered a presentation on the five year housing land supply, what Councils are required to do, how Councils are performing and what happens where a Councils is unable to demonstrate a 5 year housing land supply.
Giles also set out the possible routes to challenge ‘alleged’ five-year housing land supply and how the results can be used in support of a development proposal. It is important to emphasise that what might appear to be a well-trodden path is changing in the light of the Governments Housing White Paper – so diligence is required like never before!
