Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership has announced a call for businesses and organisations to submit funding bids to support investment projects worth up to approximately £10 million. Bids are being encouraged for commercial innovations focused in either healthy ageing or net-zero infrastructure.
The initiative aims to support investment opportunities valued from £2 million to approximately £10 million. The aim is for Dorset to have a ready pipeline of priority projects to offer if more government funding comes on stream to help tackle critical global challenges. Capital funding is not currently linked to this call, but its nonetheless a useful means of putting a marker down for the future.
Chapman Lily Planning have brokered introductions to innovation and growth funding specialists SG Financial in the past, who have helped get qualifying projects off the ground. SG Financial have considerable experience of helping clients to access project funding from Dorset LEP having secured over £4.5m of funding to unlock projects in the last 3 years.
Shaun Gomm, Managing Director of SG Financial, said: “We are very experienced at supporting companies to develop investment proposals, to secure innovation and growth funding and to deliver often complex projects. We are happy to discuss project opportunities both within and outside of Dorset with interested parties.”
