Chapman Lily Planning were pleased to be part of a recent seminar which saw Sir Oliver Letwin deliver the keynote speaker address. Sir Oliver Letwin’s address comes in advance of the publication of the findings into his review of the build rates of planning permissions. Sir Oliver provided an update on his review, without giving away the findings, explaining that he had visited a number of large housing development sites in ten Local Authority areas and met with House Builders and Local Authority Planners. The results of the analytical work are expected by the end of June with recommendations being made latter in the summer.
Chapman Lily Planning’s presentation focused on the opportunities for bringing forward residential development where Local Authorities are unable to demonstrate a five-year housing land supply. Please contact us if you have any questions in relation to matters linked to five-year housing land supply.
