Since joining Chapman Lily Planning as an Associate Director, John has been a fantastic asset to the team. Perhaps most poignantly John worked on Aster Groups redevelopment of Nordon House in Blandford, where he once led the North Dorset Planning Team (now part of Dorset Council); one of his last tasks was to secure a further permission for the site.
Brett Spiller, Director of Chapman Lily Planning added ‘John has not only contributed to the success of our practice, but has been an absolute pleasure to work with and we’ll miss his knowledge, enthusiasm, good grace and humour – much needed qualities in the current climate. I’m pleased to say he leaves a lasting legacy having helped to bring a number of the team on professionally’.
The team at Chapman Lily Planning would like to thank John for his commitment, hard work and support and wish him every success in his new role.
John said “I particularly enjoyed the number of great projects to which we were referred by happy clients. A great tribute to the quality and professionalism of the team. The opportunity to work with so many different planning authorities (and their individual approaches) across the south of the UK will also be of great benefit with the move back to the local authority environment.”
He leaves us to join South Somerset District Council as a Specialist Principal Planner.
