The Planning Portal Website has made some improvements in order to speed up the transfer time to Local Authorities. This improvement identifies the correct data and places it into the correct place on the LPA system. Further long-term improvements are currently underway. Shorter-term measures are in place to improve the application process when inputting data. One improvement was to show ‘mandatory’ or ‘optional’ next to each field/question with the aim to reduce the chance of mistaken data being inputted.
