Bristol City Council has just announced it is inviting landowners to promote their land for potential future development under a ‘call for sites’. Commenting on this announcement, Steve Tapscott, senior planner at Chapman Lily, said that ‘this is one of the first stages in the Council’s local plan review process and is an important opportunity for landowners to get their prospective sites on the Council’s radar. Current estimates are that the city will need to deliver around 2,368 new homes per annum in the local plan, so a significant number of sites will be required to do this’.
Chapman Lily Planning has enjoyed great success across the country in promoting sites on behalf of landowners through the local plan process. If you would like to consider promoting your land for future development, please feel free to get in touch.
