BCP Council has published its Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA). The SHLAA is an important part of the plan-making process and follows a ‘call for sites’ undertaken at the end of 2019. Steve Tapscott, Senior Planner at Chapman Lily, commented that ‘the SHLAA shows what land is available for development in the BCP Council area and it will form the basis for future site selections in the local plan. A total of 205 sites have been promoted, providing a wide choice of potential options for future growth’.
